Profile: Bioniqs is engaged in developing green solvents. We recommend/design application-specific solvents for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and related trades. We evaluate both molecular and ionic liquids to determine the most appropriate solution for a given process. An advanced computer simulation/modelling software package is used to screen these in situ before interative optimization through lab-bench testing. Solvents are chosen for their optimal technical, economic and environmental performance. Example applications include natural product extraction, reactor cleaning, plastics recycling and biocatalysis.
