The EDTA is used as a polymetization activator for butyl bezene latex, and as a polyreaction terminator in acrylic fiber production. This is also used as an additive to detergent, skin cream and hair-conditioner. EDTA-2Na salt is a white powder with two crystal waters. This is soluble in water and insoluble in organic solvents like alcohol or ethyl ether. The EDTA-2Na is used in detergent, liquid soap, shampoo, agricultural chemicals, fixer solution for the development of color film, water cleaner, and PH modifier. Amino ethyl ethanol amine (AEEA) is a colorless viscous liquid with a light smell of ammonia, soluble in water and slightly soluble in ether. It can absorb carbon dioxide in the air. It can prevent copper-nickel alloy from browning. It is also used as an antiseptic agent and sludge dispersant.
