Profile: Geotech International B.V. specializes in glitters, pearlescent pigments, glass flakes, metallic dispersions, mica and metallic pigments. Our Geometal® glitters are brilliantly colored particles of precision cut aluminum films. These are used as a color flakes in different types of master batches from PP to ABS. These are also applied in household equipments such as water heaters, coffee machines, waste baskets, tooth brushes and electric razors. We produce 36 different colors of aluminum glitters. The main characteristics of these glitters are high temperature and good solvent resistance. With aluminum glitter, a variety of special effects are achieved from metallic silver to granite black. Our aluminum glitters are cut out of a 12 micron thick epoxy coated foil. Each color is available in particle sizes from 0.002 inch up to 3 mm. Our aluminum pigment dispersions are based on microscopically thin aluminum platelets. These are specially developed to suit the demands of the cosmetic market. These are manufactured using the purest metals and do not contain anything of animal origin at no time during the process. Depending on the particle size, these pigments exhibit effects ranging from mirror-like to sparkling effects.
