SNF Flomin, Inc. is a manufacturer and market reagent for the minerals processing industry. Our products include all types of Xanthates, Dithiophosphates, Thionocarbamates, Mercaptobenzothiazole, Xanthogen Formats, Xanthic Esters, and Blends. Our products are widely used for the flotation of copper, lead, zinc, gold, nickel, platinum group elements, and others. We produce synthetic flocculants that are used in water treatment. We also make other products, including acrylamides and acrylates.
Xanthate
Our Xanthates provide a wide range of collector power, enabling the flotation metallurgist to cope with practically any problem involving sulfide minerals. The most widely used is Sodium Isopropyl Xanthate and Potassium Amyl Xanthate in Copper flotation circuits.
Dithiophosphates
Dithiophosphates are available as water soluble salts that exhibit a wide range of properties with respect to selectivity and froth character. These are effective in alkaline flotation circuits and are more selective than xanthates. Monothiophosphates (MTPs) are effective copper collectors in acid circuits and to improve gold recovery.
Thionocarbamates
Our Thionocarbamates are oily liquids that function well in alkaline flotation circuits (pH 7 – 12) and in particular with porphyritic copper, Cu/Mo, Cu/Au. They are effective with highly oxidized or slimy ores. They have been found to be extremely efficient as primary zinc collectors where iron sulfides are a problem.
