Pentaerythritol is used in the manufacturing of alkyd resins, fatty acid rosin & oil esters and to make paint & coatings, printing ink, coating adhesives, explosives, sealants, varnish, lacquer, vinyl chloride, synthetic rubber and in other miscellaneous products such as pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN), urethane coatings, and flame retardant paints.
